You will find Las Antipodas in the cove of Les Bassetes, which borders the towns of Calpe and Benissa, a sheltered bay to the North of the impressive Rock Peñón de Ifach. LAS ANTIPODAS activity area is a truly privileged spot: all water sports are enjoyed in crystal clear waters boasting rocky beds combined with poseidonean prairies. This exceptional sea bed is not only a botanical treasure but is also ideal for diving. In addition, this unique enclave also enjoys gentle winds with ideal sea breeze for sailing and a flat sea protected by the Peñón de Ifach and the Punta de Moraira.

A gentle sail along the wall of the Rock is undoubtedly a must. Cruising on flat water and looking up to a 330m vertical wall of pines defying all laws of gravity, hundreds of seagulls flying overhead and welcoming sailors with their shrill calls... these are experiences that cannot be missed. The beauty of this natural park viewed from the sea is truly astounding.

Either before or after sailing, visitors can explore the abrupt geography of several mountain ranges, such as Oltá, Bernia, Ferrer, Guadalest or Aitana. The startling landscape of these ranges contrasts with the gentle valleys of Jalón, Algar or Castell de Castells, where agricultural life is still a reality.

Feel the splendour and vitality of the Mediterranean while roaming extensive vineyards of the sweet mistela grapes which look onto the bays from Altea to Jávea through proud cypresses and timeless olive and carob trees.
